Welcome to the EMD: an acousmatic, systemic & electro music organistation. The EMD was founded by Dominic Thurgood in 1998. We are a non-profit group of musicians and multimedia artists who's work is not intended to fit one particular style or genre, but rather explore the various possibilities of form in music: whether mathematical, stochastic, aleatoric or emotive. NEWS
We're very pleased to welcome Petr Drkula to the EMD. Petr has released a number of recordings across various netlabels including the very well respected TestTube. Petr's formulaeic and methodic manner of composition fits in neatly with our ethos here and we'd recommend you check out his new release Messages, as well as other works through his website. |
